Don't forget Brunson signed with PFL last year so figure he would be in the tournament too. Doubt he is dropping down to welterweight!

With Nedoh and Phil Davis competing in this year's LHW tournament, it's much more stacked than last year's LHW Tournament, Impa kinda got lucky with how ****** PFLs LHW roster was now I don't think he wins with Nedoh and Davis too

Rumour has it that they are still finalising the card and just swapped the main event fighters. Which is why it’s taking so long for them to announce the card even though it’s less than 6 weeks away…

Yeah I'm very intrigued to see what he looks like after bulking up. I have a feeling he's going to just barely be over 200lbs. He has such a slender build and while I know there's no MW division, this is a bit of a head scratcher for me.

There are plenty of Bellator fighters fighting on this PFL card. It'll be fun to see how Bellator will do against PFL again.

The return of Wilkinson and Sy moving to 205 are the most intriguing for me. There is no middleweight division for PFL, but the Light Heavyweight division has plenty of former middleweights. Sy, Silveira, Wilkinson, Kasanganay, and Antonio Carlos all have competed at 185 before. When PFL took away the MW division, Sy decided to move down and it was obvious it was killer cut to 170 for him.

Of those former middleweights I'd say Silveira, Impa and Sy could all still easily fight at that weight. Wilkinson and Carlos look too big to be able to drop back down I think.

Interesting in terms of the match making that they have put Davis and Wilkinson up against each other. I know it's obviously not the greatest indicator, but of all the competitors in the tournament those 2 are the highest ranked in the tapology world rankings. So you'd think they would want that as a final. But then again, they did the same thing with Santos and Wilkinson last year and we all know how that turned out...

If they put 1 of them against Carlos JR and he win by submission the Davis-Wilkinson figth is no longer a main event. Better sell it why you can.

@Hyrm
oh yes I agree they want to cash in first so they know it goes ahead. Carlos is an interesting one, will be almost 2 years since his last fight and has done that big brother stuff in Brazil in the mean time. Will be keen to see if he comes back as his dominant self or if he’s a bit rusty.

Last year the LHW division was clearly the weakest after all the drug suspensions, but this year it looks to be their strongest division (or at least most interesting) in my mind.
