Final Picks
Predictions: 5 of 12 Winners, 2 Perfect, 355 Points | Tied for 1356th
Jasmine getting a power puncher with nothing else Jas is a brawler with good clinch work and control time she wins a dec
Sam Patterson pulls off the upset yea he got flash koed last fight but yohan is very bad
Robertson getting a BJJ bum her wrestling will be the key here she either gets the choke or ground & pound
Ramon just missed weight by a lot fight probably gets cancelled but if not Sidey gets the ko again clean this time
Jourdain puts on a show here woodson doesnt have great striking Jourdain is going to find the ko in later rounds
honestly gibson was a harder fight then Armfield is Katona wins all 3 rounds and gets the decision
Arnold Allen will gas like always and Movsar will take the third and second round in a split decision
Upset this is gonna be a brawl and i think Marc Andre throws more shots and Curtis chin will finally crumble
Magny is a vet but Malott seems like the next big thing for CA the young kid makes the fight ugly and gets the finish
Raquel is well skilled but Mayra is too slick with her setups on the subs in a 5 rounder i see MBS finding the sub
Strickland has everything to lose here but again with the crowd on his back and that fire in him we see another flawless performance from Sean somehow jabbing DDP till his nose breaks and breaking him in championship rounds

Brad Katona, DEC
Taking the much more experienced and veteran Katona to probably win a decision. Although this is one of the fights where he could finally get a finish.

One of the only things I can think of that might "extend" that leash for a fighter is finishing ability. I can see the UFC putting up with *some* extra baggage with certain fighters if they can finish fights. She's not a great fighter and arguably utilizes questionable tactics to try to win fights. I'm with you there. But at the end of the day, she hits hard as ****.
We're definitely at the point though where if the UFC is going to continue to put up with her (which they arguably shouldn't), it needs to be at bantamweight. The only thing she's really offering are quicker KO finishes, but maybe she'll be able to do that more consistently if she stop's trying to cut so much weight...?

Prediction Comments
Predictions: 4 of 12 Winners, 1 Perfect, 240 Points | Tied for 3783rd
Dricus Du Plessis, TKO, R2
Strickland might have the cardio and technique advantage but that won't matter if this turns out to be a brawl. If both guys come foward, I favour Du Plessis punch power over Strickland's. Plus, it looks like Sean has had a really tough weight cut so his chin might be a little frail. Du Plessis def. Strickland via TKO (punches), Round 2
Pennington vs. Bueno Silva
Mayra Bueno Silva, SUB, R3
Pennington is a well rounded fighter and she will have an experience and speed advantage over Bueno Silva. On the other hand, Bueno Silva has the heavier hands, which might make Pennington want to wrestle, which might cost her the fight as Bueno Silva is proven to be a jiu jitsu ace. Bueno Silva def. Pennington via Submission (armbar), Round 3
Magny vs. Malott
Mike Malott, SUB, R1
Magny is getting a bit older and he has been in a lot of fights, meaning he is not evolving anymore and there is also a lot of his tape to study on. Malott will be faster, stronger and more motivated, so I do see him getting the takedown and finishing the fight quickly. Malott def. Magny via Submission (atm-triangle choke), Round 1
Curtis vs. Barriault
Marc-André Barriault, DEC
These two look pretty evenly matched, but I'll risk to say that Barriault's shots are a little more damaging than Curtis's. Besides that, I think canadian judges will favor the hometown fighter. Barriault def. Curtis via Split Decision (28-29, 29-28, 29-28)
Allen vs. Evloev
Movsar Evloev, DEC
Evloev has elite wrestling that will most likely be used to annul Allen's gameplan for the first 2 rounds. I do see the Russian fighter gassing out on the third round but surviving enought time to see a win. Evloev def. Allen via Unanimous Decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-28)
Katona vs. Armfield
Brad Katona, DEC
Katona is very well rounded, experienced and consistent where Armfield is a more explosive fighter. If Katona plays it cautiously and waits out the storm, I think he might pull a dominant victory. Katona def. Armfield via Unanimous Decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27)
Jourdain vs. Woodson
Charles Jourdain, TKO, R3
Woodson is huge for featherweight but he's also a bit slow for the division. As the fight progresses, I do see him getting tired and not being able to absorve many shots, something that Jourdain will capitalize on. Jourdain def. Woodson via KO (body kick), Round 3
Sidey vs. Taveras II
Serhiy Sidey, TKO, R2
Both fighters are known for pushing foward and looking for a KO. In this case, Im predicting Sidey to use his size advantage to keep Taveras on the outside in order to outclass him a bit until he gets the knockout Sidey def. Taveras via TKO (punches), Round 2
Robertson vs. Viana
Gillian Robertson, SUB, R2
Viana is a much more technical and powerful striker than Robertson but I'm predicting this fight to take place on the ground as both fighters are jiu jitsu aces who always welcome action in the mat. That being said, Robertson's grappling game is the more effective in this case and I do think she brings another finish home Robertson def. Viana via Submission (rear-naked choke), Round 2
Lainesse vs. Patterson
Yohan Lainesse, TKO, R1
Patterson was KO'ed bad in his last fight, which might make him a little hesitant on the feet now. Lainesse is an experienced kickboxer who will take advantage of that in order to finish the fight quickly. Lainesse def. Patterson via TKO (head kick), Round 1
Jasudavicius vs. Cachoeira
Jasmine Jasudavicius, TKO, R2
Cachoeira is the more agressive and, powerful puncher out of the two, but that being said, her wrestling is nowhere near the level of Jasudavicius's wrestling. The Canadian fighter will soon look for a takedown and ground and pound her way into a victory. Jasudavicius def. Cachoeira via TKO (elbows), Round 2
Gordon vs. Flick
Malcolm Gordon, DEC
Both fighters need a victory on this one. Gordon had a tough weight cut which means he might avoid to absorve strikes by taking the fight to the ground. Flick does have a nasty ground game but Gordon also had the skills to stay on top and not get submitted, which might be enough to grant him a victory. Gordon def. Flick via Unanimous Decision (30-27, 29-28, 29-28)

I wonder if the cold weather had something to do with the bad weight cut. I heard it's cold in Canada right now.
Also wonder if Gordon stopped cutting weight on purpose too. Would not surprise me.

I wouldn’t be shocked if his training regimen was eating whatever food he wants and lifting weights in the gym
