Skillwise Taveras looks much better than Sidey.

Predictions: 1 of 5 Winners, 0 Perfect, 50 Points   |   Tied for 1024th

Sidey vs. Taveras
Ramon Taveras, TKO, R2
Tavares has faced the weaker competition, but I love the hands. If Sidey wants to stand and bang I think The Savage catches him with something

Hanekom vs. Budka
Chad Hanekom, DEC
This line completely flipped, Hanekom has the better strength of schedule and is an older guy who probably knows this is his last shot. I think the relentlessness of Budka makes this a decision win, but I'd love to see another one of those K/O elbows.

Silva vs. Vallejos
Kevin Vallejos, DEC
Vallejos age scares me, but the kid seems to be the goods. Solid wins, but facing a good opponent in Silva. I think he takes a competitive decision win as Silva's chin holds up.

Barbosa vs. Guerrero
Dione Barbosa, DEC
I'll take Barbosa as she has fought the much better competition. Late notice replacement in Guerrero helps sway the pick as well.

Lopes vs. Ribeiro
Bruno Lopes, TKO, R1
Bruno has real power, and I'm afraid that Ribeiro's chin cracks in the first round. The fact that Ribeiro has been knocked out twice in the first round as of late is what drives this line to be so wide, lets see if the bookies are right this time.

Ribeiro's chin may has undeserved reputation, because first KO was from ground and pound, and second was only after 30 days from first knockout.

Macabre New Predictions

Predictions: 3 of 5 Winners, 1 Perfect, 175 Points   |   Tied for 105th

Lopes vs. Ribeiro
I am all about Bruno Lopes at -600. He has a scintillating counter left and an ironic elevator hook sweep and also a decent fallaway moonsault slam. Lopes shall prove the humiliating defeat.

Silva vs. Vallejos
I appoint Kevin Vallejos at -220. He has a groundbreaking liver kick and a zen osoto gari. Vallejos might quarantine the dissentient.

Barbosa vs. Guerrero
I go for Dione Barbosa at -300. She has an outrageous sleeper slam. Barbosa can seize the feat.

Hanekom vs. Budka
I lean towards Dylan Budka at -130. He has a hot bear hug and an exotic ouchi gaeshi and also a digital hammerfist. Budka will likely reject the ring announcer.

Sidey vs. Taveras
I crave Serhiy Sidey at -210. He has a radioactive level change. Sidey isn't about to excite the achievement. Вот, где собака зарыта!

Budka looks like has a good TDD, so fight will go standing, and Budka should have a power to ko Hanekom, no? Hanekom has a suspect chin, and got beat up by some can.

@supnavarili

That's the only thing that concerns me about Hanekom. But upon researching a bit more, it seems he has some personal issues and just wanted to get out of there asap so he emptied the tank and just looked horrible overall. He absolutely did not look like that in other fights, even against Ikram. Crossing my fingers here.

Prediction Comments

Predictions: 2 of 5 Winners, 1 Perfect, 150 Points   |   Tied for 212th

Lopes vs. Ribeiro
Bruno Lopes, SUB, R2
Lopes has pretty much every advantage in this fight. He could do damage on the feet, but his easiest path to victory is on the ground. After some early exchanges, I see him scoring a takedown and subbing Ribeiro late in rd 1/early in rd 2.

Sidey vs. Taveras
Serhiy Sidey, TKO, R1
Taveras has the finishing upside, but is the more green fighter. Sidey seems far more put together at this level. If he can survive an early onslaught, he can likely win down the stretch.

Hanekom vs. Budka
Chad Hanekom, SUB, R2
Fun fact: Dylan Budka’s first fight was a loss to a guy I knew in high school! With that said, I don’t like his chances here. Hanekom has far more top level experience, including a close split decision loss to Ikram Aliskerov. Expect a finish from the South African.

Silva vs. Vallejos
Kevin Vallejos, DEC
Jean Silva trains with a good team and has never been stopped. His lack of activity is concerning however, as he takes on a guy who has fought four times in the last 9 months alone. Vallejos is a rugged striker who has shown he can handle adversity and finish opponents, as well as an underrated wrestling game. He’s explosive and even has a win over former UFC fighter Eduardo Garragori. I’m leaning Vallejos by decision in a war, but a knockout finish isn’t out of the question.

Barbosa vs. Guerrero
Dione Barbosa, DEC
Barbosa is far more credentialed, being an Olympic judoka, as well as having a win over UFC fighter Karine Silva. Guerrero will have a slight advantage in the reach, and could give issues to Barbosa if she can prevent herself from being taken down. She does seem a bit green, and her opponents haven’t been very good. Taking the short notice Barbosa by decision or submission.
