Feels like a fight where Azat puts Tyson to sleep highlight reel submission. Nam super tough and looks to throw big, but will get taken down and eventually finished. No clue how good Azat will be one day but he has a strong matchup for his debut

Deaton III vs. Munoz
Alex Munoz, DEC
Old school striker versus wrestler matchup with advantage to the wrestler. More importantly Munoz should continue to shoot all fight and hold him down enough to secure a decision. Recent judges scoring for damage over control could steal a round for Deaton, but if he cant get off his back it wont matter.

Azat's takedowns are terrifying. He shoots them with no set up from super far out. Ufc guys will punish him for that. Nam had good TDD anyway, hopefully azat just strikes from range he has a clear advantage over Nam there

@trdbets Couldn't find anything either (didn't look hard) but I think I think it was a bad cut even though he says he was staying ready, missed weight slightly than had to come back later and made weight.

I think jdm knows that there isnt much tape on him and is gonna respect his ability and isnt gonna just rush the first round combined with hafez never being ko'd.
gotta feeling like jdms gonna pick him apart and get a round 2 or 3 finish but who knows, gonna be good either way.

@IDPC7 it just worries me alittle and i dont want him not ko'ing him in the first round to **** up my parlays if it does happen but if i was doing single bets id probably just do that

@trdbets yeah if your throwing money on jack in a parlay you could do jack in rounds 1 or 2 at -200 to avoid a big line

Nunes was up on the scorecard vs Carnelossi in my book so not the best example. If you get pieced up before you get the takedown and you then have to hold on and can't throw a single punch in order to keep someone down the rulebook says you lose.
Of course the judges go with the ruleset half the time and the old "whoever is on top the most won the round" adage of yesteryear so you never know which interpretation is going to be used on the day.

I wonder what Hafez goes through mentally. I imagine it's like being a sheep being led to slaugther except you have the cognitive functions of a human being and are fully aware of what is going on and you intend to headbutt the man with the knife in his nutsack and make a run for it.
