Mu Bae Choi Wiki

Mu Bae Choi is a South Korean mixed martial artist competing in the heavyweight division. Choi is a former Greco-Roman wrestler. As for his Japanese-language nickname Fuchin-kan, Fuchin meaning "unsinkable", and Kan simultaneously meaning "warship" and "[South] Korea".

 

In his mixed martial arts debut Choi faced another former wrestler in Yusuke Imamura at a PRIDE event, defeating Imamura in the first round via submission. After going 5-0 Choi suffered back-to-back defeats at the hands of Sergei Kharitonov and Sylvester Terkay. Choi then won two fights in a row before making his Sengoku debut against Marcio Cruz, losing via submission in the first round.

 

Choi later went 2-1 in 2009 before taking a break from mixed martial arts. He returned to competition on March 23, 2013 to take on Toyohiko Momna, whom he defeated via KO in the first round in only 26 seconds.
