Hussein Ayad was a contestant on Desert Force Al Academiya season 2. He would face Mohammed Azzani for his fight to get into the house. He would lose this fight by DEC. Ayad would be brought back to fight in the quarter finals of the bantamweight tournament due to some fighters having personal issues. He would face the Lebanese fighter Philippe Massoud.
