Rambaa Somdet Wiki

Rambaa Somdet is a Thai mixed martial artist and former kickboxer who has fought for K-1, Shooto, DEEP and Palace Fighting Championship. He competes in the flyweight and strawweight divisions.

Somdet became the first-ever Shooto Flyweight (115 lbs.) Champion by defeating Noboru Tahara via unanimous decision in a rematch. After a win outside the promotion Somdet returned to defend his title against Hiroyuki Abe at Shooto - The Way of Shooto 4: Like a Tiger, Like a Dragon. Somdet defeated Abe in the first round via doctor stoppage and retained his title. However, Somdet later vacated the title after he was unable to defend it due to a bicep injury.
